It's fall, and that means Family Portrait Sessions! I decided to only take on a few family sessions this year, as my photography business is transitioning (stay tuned), and one of my favorite families also happens also to be a past NILMDTS client.

While my main website/blog is down for repairs I had to find a way to be able to share a few sneak peek images from Lyndsey and Chris' garden style wedding from this past May!

One of my favorite historic venues in Northern Virginia, Fort C.F.

Washington DC's National Building Museum was the backdrop for this December head shot photo session.

Shoshanna is a real estate agent and attorney in the Washington DC metro area, and was in need of some new head shots for her real estate website.

Milltown Creek Tree Farm is not just great for Christmas trees; it was also the wonderful setting of one of my very first snowy engagement photo sessions!

Katelyn and Pete met my husband Mike and I out at the tree farm this past week, just after the DC area got hit with its first snow storm of the

I love when I get the chance to do a one-on-one fall portrait session with a fun client such as Kristen B! Kristen was in the market for both personal and professional portraits of herself for various social media and networking sites.

Another fantastic part of my job is getting the opportunity to photograph my clients throughout all the exciting stages in their lives: marriage, pregnancy, and childbirth!

I met little Ian for the first time on a crisp fall day.

Greer and Joe made it official! Their love is no joke, but man do they know how to make each other laugh! These two fantastic folks had their lovely intimate nuptials at the Barcroft Community House,  and then celebrated with a larger gathering at the Carlyle Club, a super old timey, swanky supper c

The experience I had photographing Dana and Alex's wedding day at Linganore Winecellars in Mount Airy, MD is difficult to summarize... I want to share it all! First, the setting was out of a story book.

Emily and Bobby: what a pair! These two are so cute and lovely together, I just cherished every moment of their wedding day at Weatherlea Farm and Vineyard in Loudoun County, VA!

Emily and Bobby met while working in TV and video production, and their creativity was in full and fabulous display all

I absolutely love taking maternity photos, and Kristin and Adrian's fall themed maternity photos from McLean, VA definitely go on the list of my favorite maternity photography! Kristin and Adrian are super fun, so it was a blast to have them out to my cottage for our session.

Earlier this month, Blink Photography hit the road (and the sky) to capture Erin and Pawel's magnificent mountaintop wedding at Piney River Ranch in Vail, Colorado.

One of a kind screen printed t-shirts are HERE! I am trilled to be able to share some of my screen printed t-shirt designs with you all!!

A few short months ago I was fortunate enough to take a fantastic screen printing class at Open Studio DC, and was instantly hooked!! What I was not prepared for

I love getting to do environmental portraits and head shots. There's just nothing like the rich velvety lighting on a warm summer day... Yeah I realize that was maybe a little flowery for a head shot post. But the lighting...

Mother and daughter portraits with these two beautiful ladies is always a joy! This is my second shoot in a series with Laura and Z. This time we met at the fabulously whimsical Glen Echo Park. The day couldn't have been more perfect and, well, there just wasn't a bad photo in the bunch.

It was my great pleasure to photograph a gorgeous spring family portrait session at Chevy Chase Country Club for my fabulous, and oh-so-fun neighbors, the Sagarese Family!

The Sagareses and I have been neighbors for 10 years now, and over that decade it's been amazing to watch their kids grow into

This past week I had the chance to do some freelance corporate photography with Ventana Productions & Heritage Provider Network shooting at the massive Health Datapalooza IV conference at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington DC.

I had the pleasure to shoot a mini head shot session with a good friend this past weekend. Lisa is truly an amazing woman! Her dedication and selflessness as an active Major in the U.S. Air Force--now Veteran--are inspiring to say the least.

I had the honor and pleasure of photographing Becky, Brian and adorable little Owen this past April. I can't get enough of Owen's enormous blue eyes, his mischievous smile and his squeezable cheeks! I've been tremendously lucky to be a part of Becky and Brian's lives over the last couple years.

I am so happy to announce the completion of my Holga centric website! It has taken me over a year to put together this site. My goal; create a site that was clean, simple, easy to navigate, and full of Holga content.

Jessica and Niles were married this past April in Washington DC at the Cleveland Park Congregational Church.

The day was a perfectly picturesque spring day.

I will never get tired of shooting images with my Holga. I say this with utter confidence, despite knowing one should never say "never." But of this I am sure: I identify with this plastic camera. It's what I do and, in some ways, who I am...

I had the extreme pleasure of photographing baby Rigel not once but twice in just a few short months! Our first new born photography session was at Rigel's home, as he was just 3 weeks old - a wee lad.

Blink Photography Corporate is happy to announce...

15% off studio and environmental head-shots!

It's 2013, time to update your head-shot. A current image of you is always important, whether it's for your work, website, or any media publications.

I have woefully fallen of the wagon with my iPhone image of the week posts.

So today I am bringing back a little iPhone-ography or Mobile Photography to share with you all.

Baby Rigel is here!!!

Dabe and Janelle welcomed their adorable little boy into the world just a few short weeks ago.

This is an image I didn’t make, on New Years Day…

It’s all wings, sunlight and gravity-defying illusions.

A half empty feeder suspended as if from a nonexistent cord sways precariously on the longest branch you’ve ever seen.

Shannon and Stephen pulled off the miraculous feat of planning a wedding from overseas--

England to be exact! Shannon and Stephen had a spectacular winter wedding at The Morrison House in Alexandria, VA this past December.
