Photography Show and Exhibit {Mississippi Delta} Contrast

Calling all professional, amateur, and hobbiest photographers...

Time for you to pick up your cameras, dust off your lenses and submit some of your favorite images for Contrast!

If you haven't heard of Contrast, a unique art show hosted and created by well known Mississippi Delta photographer Will Jacks, then look no further.


We want YOU!

I have been going over image after image after image from my personal collections, trying hard to decide what body of work best represents contrast to me.

Contrast in it's literal definition means:–verb (used with object)

to compare in order to show unlikeness or differences; note the opposite natures, purposes, etc., of: Contrast the political rights of Romans and Greeks. However, Will is asking us to look beyond the literal definition of contrast and dive deep into our own interpretations. There is no right or wrong answer here, just the exploration of our artistic minds and selves. You don't need to be in Mississippi, the Delta, or anywhere near the Mississippi Delta to be a part of this show. Photographers from all over the United States are submitting their work to be considered for this show. Though, if you can get yourself to Mississippi for the opening in August, it's going to be a great time! Come join photographers and artists from all different walks of life gathering to commune with one another. Not only will there be some of the best photography around, but also a ton of great music, art, food, and so much more. I hope that you will all join us and I urge you to submit work for the show and be part of this budding photography movement.
