A life changing experience...
Just over week ago I had the honor of photographing my first live birth!
I am not exactly sure how to beginning to put into words what it was like to be a part of the birth of a child... it's an intensely emotional experience that gives me pause.
Moments after a child is born into the world, after seeing a mother labor and a father's strong and encouraging support made me feel still and humble.
During the hours of Erica's labor, I had the experience that this was the only thing happening in the world, I guess this is what it feels like when time just stops.
